FYI, There ARE things that should disqualify you from certain church leadership positions…FOREVER.

Ie: certain degrees of sexual immorality, certain degrees of abuse, certain mental health diagnoses, certain patterns and lifestyle habits.

This doesn’t mean you can’t be restored to fellowship.  It means it is unsafe to the community to place you in leadership where you’re given power, access, and influence.

We have not ONE single biblical example of a pastor with lifestyles like many of our most notable today.  We have not ONE biblical example of some of your modern day prophets. Many of the most prominent more closely mirror what the scriptures called FALSE prophets and apostles of darkness.

The church must stop letting ourselves be guilted by the “who are you to say who God can’t use,” rhetoric intending to make you unplug your brain and the warning systems that God has wired into your brain and body.
